Hubungan Dukungan Orang Tua dengan Kemampuan Motorik Kasar Anak Cerebral Palsy
The Relationship of Parental Support and Gross Motor Skills in Children with Cerebral Palsy
Abstract
Penyandang disabilitas adalah anak yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik, mental, intelektual, dan sensorik dalam jangka waktu lama sehingga dalam berinteraksi dengan lingkungan dan masyarakat menjadi terhambat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi dan melihat gambaran serta hubungan tentang dukungan yang diberikan orang tua dalam membantu untuk perkembangan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak Cerebral Palsy. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Dukungan orang tua diukur menggunakan kuisioner Social Support Questionnaire for Children (SSQC) dan kemampuan motorik kasar anak menggunakan pengukuran GMFCS-E&R (Gross Motor Function Classification System Expanded and Resived). Tidak didapatkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara dukungan orang tua dengan perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak Cerebral Palsy. Dukungan orang tua yang termasuk kategori sangat baik diberikan kepada anak Cerebral Palsy dengan kemampuan motorik kasar yang sudah termasuk kategori berat.
