Pengaruh Quadriceps Setting Exercise Dan Akupresur Pada Lansia Dengan Knee Pain Terhadap Peningkatan Aktivitas Fungsional
Effect Of Quadricept Setting And Acupressure For Elder With Knee Pain To Improve Functional Activity
Abstract
Knee pain pada lansia sering muncul dikarenakan adanya penurunan fungsi secara fisiologis. Hal ini juga menjadikan lansia mengalami penurunan aktivitas fungsional karena adanya nyeri. Knee pain dapat ditangani dan dicegah dengan dengan beberapa intervensi kesehatan. Salah satunya adalah latihan yang diberikan fisioterapi dan kombinasi perawatan komplementer untuk menurunkan nyeri lutut sehingga adanya peningkatan aktivitas fungsional. Pada peneliti akan memberikan intervensi berupa Quadriceps setting exercise exercise dan akupresur untuk peningkatan aktivitas pada lansia dengan kondisi knee pain . Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas fungsional pada lansia dengan WOMAC. Desain penelitian ini berupa kualitatif dengan eksperimental pre-post test. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lansia usia 49 – 85 tahun di wilayah puskesmas Poncol Kota Pekalongan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini sejumlah 20 orang dengan kategori masuk dalam lansia dan terindikasi adanya keluhan knee pain. Uji normalitas data dengan shapiro wilk dan uji beda dengan wilcoxon test dimana nilai p<0,05 data tidak berdistribusi tidak normal. Hasil uji beda pre-post test nyeri dan kemampuan fungsional dengan wilcoxon test nilai p<0,05 yang berarti adanya perbdedaan yang bermakna pada sebelum maupun sesudah intervensi. Penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan aktivitas fungsional lutut disertai dengan penurunan nyeri lutut. Simpulan intervensi quadricept setting exercise dan akupresur dengan keluhan knee pain pada lansia dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional lutut setelah 6 kali intervensi.
