Hubungan Kekuatan Otot Ekstensor Knee Terhadap Performa Mobilitas Pada Pasien Osteoarthritis
The Relationship Between Strength of Knee Extensor Muscles To Mobility Performance In Osteoarthritis Patients
Abstract
Di Indonesia lebih dari 65% lanjut usia di atas 61 tahun menderita osteoarthritis. Osteoartritis (OA) merupakan penyakit kronis muskuloskeletal yang menyerang pada tulang rawan sendi lutut dan dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kekuatan otot ekstensor knee secara prograsif. Penurunan kekuatan otot ekstensor knee mengakibatkan penurunan fungsi aktifitas keseharian. Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui hubungan kekuatan otot ekstensor knee terhadap performa mobilitas pasien osteoarthritis. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan cross sectional analisys. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUD Simo Kabupaten Boyolali. Subjek semua pasien osteoarthritis yang datang ke poli fisioterapi RSUD Simo Kabupaten Boyolali sebanyak 46 subjek. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis statistik yang digunakan menggunakan uji pearson correlation. Hasil uji hubungan antara kekuatan otot ekstensor knee terhadap performa mobilitas pasien osteoarthritis didapatkan hasil nilai p = 0,047 dan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,295 yang dapat diartikan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kekuatan otot ekstensor knee terhadap performa mobilitas pasien osteoarthritis.
