Hubungan Waktu Paparan Layar Smartphone Dengan Forward Head Posture Pada Siswa(i) SMA
The Relationship of Smartphone Screen Exposure Time with Forward Head Posture in High School Students
Abstract
Smartphone merupakan media komunikasi yang paling banyak dipakai oleh masyarakat disemua kalangan usia pada masa kini. Saat menggunakan smartphone, posisi kepala menatap ke layar smartphone membuat cervical tidak pada posisi yang ergonomis. Jika hal tersebut dilakukan secara terus menerus dengan mempertahankan posisi statis dalam waktu yang cukup lama, dapat menimbulkan suatu masalah yakni Forward Head Posture. Di Asia, prevalensi terjadinya Forward Head Posture mencapai 66%. Minimnya penelitian tentang FHP yang dilakukan pada siswa SMA di Indonesia, membuat peneliti ingin melakukan pengkajian lebih lanjut khususnya pada siswa SMA. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara waktu paparan layar smartphone dengan Forward Head Posture pada siswa(i) SMA Negeri 1 Baubau. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional study dengan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 314 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Waktu paparan layar smartphone diukur dengan melihat laporan waktu layar pada smartphone responden dan FHP diukur dengan menggunakan aplikasi Protractor. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa sebanyak 94.9% sampel terindikasi FHP kategori ringan dengan presentase perempuan lebih besar dibandingkan laki-laki. Hasil uji normalitas data CVA tidak terdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0.200 yang kemudian di uji korelasi Spearman rho nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.067. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara waktu paparan lauar smartphone dengan Forward Head Posture pada siswa(i) SMA Negeri 1 Baubau dikarenakan banyaknya faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya FHP selain penggunaan smarthphone.
