Epidemiologi Cedera Olahraga Atlet dan Ofisial pada Penyelenggaraan Multi Event Olahraga
Epidemiology of Sports Injuries to Athletes and Officials in Multi-Sport Events
Abstract
Multievent olahraga seperti Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) menjadi ajang pembinaan atlet sekaligus berpotensi meningkatkan risiko cedera olahraga. Porprov jatim tahun 2022 mempertandingkan 47 cabang olahraga, di antaranya bolabasket, bulutangkis, atletik, taekwondo, dan lainnya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik cedera pada atlet dan tim ofisial salah satu kota selama penyelenggaraan Porprov 2022. Metode: Data dikumpulkan secara retrospektif menggunakan formulir elektronik yang diisi oleh petugas kesehatan dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil: Potensi keluhan cedera dialami oleh 200 atlet dan 4 ofisial, dengan kejadian tertinggi pada atlet laki-laki (52,7%) dan kelompok usia 15-20 tahun (65,2%). Cedera paling sering terjadi pada ekstremitas bawah (53,7%) dan mayoritas bersifat ringan (69,5%). Cabang olahraga dengan kejadian cedera tertinggi meliputi bola basket, sepak takraw, dan atletik. Sebagian besar cedera ditangani menggunakan terapi manual (90,3%) seperti muscle release dan stretching. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan kesehatan atlet yang terintegrasi, meliputi pencegahan cedera, fisioterapi berbasis terapi manual dan elektroterapi, serta dukungan medis berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan performa atlet pada event olahraga.
