Pengaruh Pursed Lip Breathing Terhadap Peningkatan Toleransi Aktivitas Pada Pasien Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK)

Abstract
Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronis (PPOK) adalah gangguan saluran pernafasan kronis yang tidak reversibel penuh yang disebabkan oleh obstruksi saluran nafas. Keluhan utama pasien PPOK adalah sesak nafas yang bersifat progresif, irreversible dan intoleransi aktivitas. Pasien PPOK aktivitas fisik bisa menjadi tantangan, terutama karena saluran napas yang menyempit. Namun, teknik Pursed lips breathing dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan toleransi aktivitas. Pursed lips breathing adalah teknik pernapasan yang digunakan untuk membantu meningkatkan kapasitas paru dan mempermudah pernapasan pada orang yang mengalami kesulitan bernapas, seperti pada penyakit paru obstruktif kronis (PPOK). Penelitian ini termasuk Pra Eksperimentaldenganpre test-post test one-group design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pursed Lip Breathing terhadap peningkatan toleransi aktivitas pada pasien PPOK di BBKPM Makassar.Sampel penelitian adalah pasien PPOKyang dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi, dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 11 orang yangdiberikan latihanPursed Lip Breathing. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah Modified Borg dengan mengukur derajat sesak. Dilihat dari nilai rerata menunjukkan adanya perubahan untuk tingkat toleransi aktivitas yaitu dari 4,00 sebelum diberikanPursed Lip Breathing menjadi 2,09 setelah diberikan Pursed Lip Breathing, yang berarti bahwa terjadi penurunan tingkat derajat sesak sehingga terjadi peningkatan toleransi aktivitas. Berdasarkan analisis uji Wilcoxon, diperoleh hasil p= 0,003 (p<0,05) yang berarti bahwa intervensi Pursed Lip Breathing dapat meningkatkan toleransi aktivitas pada penderita PPOK.. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pemberian Pursed Lip Breathing dapat memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadappeningkatan toleransi aktivitas pada pasien PPOK
