Abstract
Pada umumnya, manusia tidak terlepas dari kegiatan belajar dan mengingat. Penurunan kognitif merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sering dijumpai pada kelompok masyarakat. Penurunan kognitif menyebabkan berkurangnya kemampuan seseorang untuk belajar, mengingat dan membuat keputusan. Exergame merupakan salah satu jenis aktivitas fisik yang melibatkan gerakan tubuh dan game. Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menilai efek positif dari exergame, diantaranya dapat mempersingkat waktu reaksi dan meningkatkan fungsi atensi dan memori. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan exergame posisi berdiri dan duduk terhadap peningkatan memori pada mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan design penelitian Crossover Study Design dengan Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. Jumlah responden sebanyak 26 orang yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument atau alat dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument kuesioner Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-Ina) dan Digit Span Test, kemudian alat Oculus Quest 2 (Virtual Reality Game) dan Handheld Controllers. Dari hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada latihan virtual reality exergame dengan posisi duduk (p = 0,031) terhadap peningkatan memori pada mahasiswa, namun ditemukan hasil yang berbeda pada latihan virtual reality exergame dengan posisi berdiri (p = 0,150) dimana menunjukan tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan setelah diberikan intervensi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada latihan exergame dengan posisi duduk terhadap peningkatan memori pada mahasiswa di Yogyakarta, sementara itu tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada latihan exergame dengan posisi berdiri terhadap peningkatan memori pada mahasiswa di Yogyakarta.
