Efektivitas Metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy Terhadap Kemampuan Ekspresi Verbal Pasien Afasia di Bekasi
The Effectiveness of the Constraint-Induced Language Therapy Method on Verbal Expression Ability of Aphasia
Abstract
Afasia merupakan gengguan komunikasi dapatan yang mempengaruhi 30%-40% penyintas Stroke. Pemulihan penderita afasia menurun drastis setelah enam bulan dan kemmapuan komunikasi relative tidak meningkat dalam waktu satu tahun hingga diperkirakan sekitar 50%-60% penderita Afasia bertahap hidup dengan gangguan komunikasi kronis yang terus menerus. Terapi wicara menjadi intervensi utama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan verbal. Salah satunya metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy (CILT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy terhadap peningkatan kemampuan ekspresi verbal pada pasien afasia. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental, rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada enam pasien afasia menggunakan teknik purpose sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy, Tes Token, dan TADIR. Intervensi metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy menggunakan Go fish, meniru kata, meniru kalimat dengan durasi intervensi 120 menit per sesi selama 10 pertemuan. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon dan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil analisis data deskriptif setelah dilakukan intervensi responden mengalami perbaikan pada kemampuan menyebutkan kata, menamai, dan meniru ucapan. Berdasarkan hasil Uji Wilcoxon nilai Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0.034, lebih kecil dari taraf signifikasi 0.05 (0.034<0.05). sehingga didapatkan hasil bahwa metode Constraint Induced Language Therapy efektif terhadap meningkatkan ekspresi verbal pasien afasia.
