Respons Sirkulasi Perifer terhadap Buerger Allen dan Foot Exercise pada Diabetes Tipe 2
Peripheral Circulatory Response to Buerger Allen and Foot Exercise in Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract
Diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2 dapat disertai gangguan vaskular perifer yang berpotensi memengaruhi perfusi ekstremitas bawah. Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) merupakan pemeriksaan non-invasif yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai status sirkulasi perifer. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh Buerger Allen Exercise (BAE) dan Foot Exercise (FE) terhadap nilai ABI pada pasien DM tipe 2. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan pra-eksperimental dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Klinik Pratama Mulia Husada 2, Kendal, pada Januari–Mei 2025 dengan 16 responden. Nilai ABI diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk dan paired samples t-test. Hasil menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berusia 65–79 tahun (63%) dan berjenis kelamin perempuan (69%). Uji normalitas menunjukkan p=0,507 pada pengukuran sebelum dan p=0,223 pada pengukuran sesudah, sehingga data dinyatakan berdistribusi normal berdasarkan kriteria p>0,05. Hasil paired samples t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai ABI yang bermakna sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada ABI dextra maupun sinistra dengan p<0,001. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi Buerger Allen Exercise dan Foot Exercise berhubungan dengan perubahan nilai ABI pada pasien DM tipe 2.
