Beda Pengaruh Antara Latihan Open Kinetic Chain Dan Latihan Isometrik Pada Otot Quadriceps Terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Penderita Osteoartritis Knee
Open Kinetic Chain Exercises And Isometric Exercises In The Quadriceps Muscles On The Decrease Pain In Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis
Abstract
Kerusakan struktur sendi pada kasus osteoartritis lutut akan menstimulasi mekanoreseptor menghantarkan informasi sensoris yang abnormal. Pada akhirnya menyebabkan penurunan kontraksi volunter otot quadriceps femoris yang diikuti oleh penurunan kekuatan otot quadriceps femoris. Penurunan kekuatanotot quadriceps femoris juga mempengaruhi nyeri saat beraktivitas pada penderita osteoartritis lutut. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh latihan open kinetic chain (OKC) dan latihan isometrik terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita osteoartrits knee. Penelitian dengan two group pre and post test design. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan pasien dengan kondisi nyeri lutut osteoarthritis yang berjumlah 40 orang yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok sehingga tiap kelompok berjumlah 20 orang. Intervensi dilakukan seminggu 3 kali sebanyak 12 kali latihan. Pengukuran nyeri dilakukan di awal dan akhir setelah seluruh program perlakuan selesai. Alat ukur pada penelitian ini menggunakan VAS. Hasil uji beda pre dan post-test pada kelompok OKC dan isometrik menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan didapatkan hasil p=0,000 (p<0,05). Adapun hasil uji beda post-post kelompok OKC dan isometrik menggunakan uji mann-whitney dan didapatkan hasil p=0,01 (p<0,05). Mean kelompok I : 2 dan mean kelompok II : 1. Latihan open kinetic chain lebih efektif dari pada latihan isometrik terhadap penurunan nyeri penderita osteoartritis lutut.
