Manajemen Fisioterapi pada Asma : Laporan Kasus
Physiotherapy Management in Asthma: A Case Report
Abstract
Asma masih menjadi salah satu penyakit kronis yang paling umum di dunia. Asma ditandai dengan gejala adanya obstruksi jalan napas yang bersifat tidak menetap, peradangan saluran napas, dan hiperresponsif bronkus menyebabkan dyspnea, mengi, sesak dada, batuk, serta gangguan kualitas hidup (Quality of Life). Tujuan dari studi kasus ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran manajemen fisioterapi pada kasus asma. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode laporan kasus, data primer diperoleh melalui autoanamnesis, alloanamnesis, dan pemeriksaan fisik. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan pasien wanita berusia 46 tahun dengan keluhan sesak napas disertai dengan batuk retensi mendapatkan intervensi fisioterapi dalam 1 sesi per minggu selama 4 minggu. Didapatkan adanya efek positif pada penurunan sesak dan peningkatan ekspansi thoraks. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa program fisioterapi dapat diberikan kpada pasien dengan kondisi asma. Program fisioterapi harus bersifat individual dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat keparahan serta presentasi klinis dari pasien.
