Hubungan Forward Head Posture dengan Kejadian Nyeri Otot Upper Trapezius pada Atlet Esports di kota Makassar
Relationship Between Forward Head Posture and the Incidence of Upper Trapezius Muscle Pain in Esports Athletes in Makassar city
Abstract
Para atlet esports mempunyai kebiasaan saat latihan ataupun pertandingan mempunyai posisi duduk yang tidak ergonomis dalam durasi yang lama bisa mengakibatkan forward head posture. Forward head posture dapat menyebabkan stres yang berkelanjutan pada bagian otot cervical dan otot bagian shoulder yang bisa mempengaruhi terjadinya spasme pada otot dan dapat menimbulkan rasa nyeri pada otot upper trapezius. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan forward head posture dengan kejadian nyeri otot upper trapezius. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel empat puluh tiga (n=43) yang merupakan atlet esports di kota Makassar. Data yang diperoleh berupa derajat forward head posture dan tingkat disabilitas pada neck pain. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi (p) variabel FHP dengan neck pain sebesar 0,298 (p>0,05), berdasarkan uji korelasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,163. Tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara forward head posture dengan nyeri pada otot upper trapezius pada atlet esports di kota Makassar.
